PROPOSAL FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A VIDEO DOCUMENT ABOUT THE DAMAGED AND DEVASTED CHRISTIAN CHURCHES AND SANCTUARIES IN KOSOVO AND METOHIA
MY WISH IS THAT BY SETTING UP THIS SITE, FIRST OF ALL, I WILL INSPIRE PEOPLE WHO SEE THIS AS IMPORTANT TO HELP PRODUCTION OF THE VIDEO DOCUMENT PRESENTED HERE.
HOWEVER, I AM AWARE THAT THE FACTS (TEXT, PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO DOCUMENTS) GIVEN HERE WILL NOT BY THEMSELVES BE SUFFICIENT TO ACHIEVE MY GOAL.
IT WILL BE NECESSARY FOR THIS SITE TO BE VISITED BY AS MANY PEOPLE FROM SERBIA AND THE SERBIAN DIASPORA AS POSSIBLE, AND THOSE WHO WANT AND CAN HELP MAKE THE PROPOSED VIDEO DOCUMENT TO RESPOND TO MY CALL FOR SUPPORT.
THEREFORE, I HOPE THAT MANY OF YOU WHO VISIT THE SITE WILL WANT TO SPREAD FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT IT.
THE FACT THAT THE PRODUCTION OF THIS TYPE OF PROJECT DEPENDS ON THE GOODWILL OF SOME INDIVIDUALS INDICATES ONE OF THE ESSENTIAL ASPECTS OF THE UNSOLVED PROBLEM OF PEOPLE'S SUFFERING AND THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WORLD'S CULTURAL HERITAGE IN KOSOVO AND METOHIA IN THE PRESENCE OF THE INTERNATIONAL ARMY, POLICE AND FORMED INSTITUTIONS OF KOSOVO.
ONE OF THOSE ASPECTS IS A 25-YEAR ABSENCE OF THE WILLINGNESS OF THE SERBIAN STATE INSTITUTIONS AND SERBIAN MEDIA TO AT LEAST CONSISTENTLY DOCUMENT THIS PROBLEM; MEDIA WITNESSES IT AND CONSTANTLY APPEAL THROUGH THE SERBIAN GOVERNMENT'S DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS TO THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN CHARGE OF THE REGION TO HAVE THIS ISSUE SOLVED.
ALSO, THE WORLD'S MEDIA DOESN'T PAY ATTENTION TO THIS PROBLEM, MOST LIKELY BECAUSE THIS IS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM POINTING TO THE 25-YEAR FAILURE OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO ACHIEVE THE BASIC GOAL OF ITS MISSION IN KOSOVO AND METOHIA - THE PROTECTION OF THE BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS OF EVERYONE WHO LIVES IN KOSOVO AND METOHIA.
HENCE, MY DOCUMENTARY FILM ARCHIVE, AS WELL AS THE MOST RECENTLY PRODUCED VIDEO DOCUMENT, IS A UNIQUE TESTIMONY OF A PROBLEM THAT HAS BEEN LASTING FOR A QUARTER OF A CENTURY.
ON THE OTHER HAND, SINCE I AM NOT ABLE TO FINANCE THE PRODUCTION COSTS OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT BY MYSELF, YOUR HELP IS NECESSARY.
REGARDLESS OF THE FINAL OUTCOME OF MY "CAMPAIGN, " THE WEBSITE IN FRONT OF YOU WILL, IN ANY CASE, REMAIN AS A DOCUMENT OF THIS TIME AND OF THIS ATTEMPT TO FINALLY HAVE AS COMPLETE AS POSSIBLE A DOCUMENTARY VIDEO ARCHIVE OF THE DAMAGED AND RUINED CHURCHES AND SERBIAN SANCTUARIES IN KOSOVO AND METOHIA...
This video is an exclusive documentary that records how the damaged Serbian Orthodox churches, shrines, and cemeteries in the rural areas of Metohia look today.
PROJECT PROPOSAL AND CALL FOR SUPPORT!
I hope that this recently produced video document on the state of some of the Orthodox Christian churches and Serbian cemeteries in Kosovo will help anyone see the urgent need for a video document, the proposal of which is presented on this site.
Since my trip to Kosovo and Metohia in the fall of 2007, journalists and media have not often traveled to the region and reported on the state of destroyed and devastated Serbian Orthodox churches and sanctuaries in Kosovo and Metohia.
Therefore, a video document that would register the authentic, current situation regarding the damaged Orthodox cultural heritage, especially in the rural areas of Metohia, does not exist.
I recently spent two days in Kosovo and Metohia and visited some of the sites where Orthodox churches once stood. The video document presented on this website is a documentary testimony from that short trip.
I am convinced that these latest videos indicate the urgent need for a more complete documentary record of the factual situation when it comes to the locations where Orthodox churches, monuments, and Serbian cemeteries were damaged or demolished.
My goal is to produce a documentary about Serbia's endangered cultural heritage in Kosovo and Metohia, which has been consistently neglected and decaying in the international community's presence for 25 years.
I want to document a nation's endangered cultural heritage, a global issue transcending borders. It is intended for a wider audience worldwide as a testimony to a problem for which the international community must offer a civilizational solution.
In cooperation with international academic institutions worldwide and associations of Christian organizations, this document will be presented at international academic forums, important cultural institutions, and political institutions to highlight the unresolved problems of human security and threats to world cultural heritage in the region.
PROJECT – DOCUMENTING THE STATE OF 63 DESTROYED MEDIEVAL CHURCHES AND MONASTERIES IN KOSOVO
When I set up this site at the beginning of September this year, I intended to inspire people who see this topic as important to help with their donations to secure the necessary funds and to realize the production of a COMPLETE VIDEO ARCHIVE of destroyed Christian sanctuaries in Kosovo and Metohia.
According to official data, 127 Orthodox churches and monasteries were demolished and desecrated in Kosovo and Metohia.
Thanks to the efforts of some of my friends who deeply care about this tragic reality, information about this project has been sent to many people, published in a magazine, and made available on the portal of a Serbian organization in Chicago—Serbian National Defense (SND).
https://snd-us.com/kosovo-and-metohia-here-and-now/
As of today – December 19, 2024, 29 individuals have responded to this call, and one Serbian organization in the USA (Save Displaced Serbs). The funds raised so far amount to $6,790.
With the urgency of this situation in mind, I urge you to consider making a contribution today.
Therefore, I now appeal to everyone who believes this project has value and that the reality of Kosovo and Metohia must be finally documented.
Your support will help us record the condition of 63 medieval Orthodox churches and monasteries in Kosovo and Metohia and present that document to the world public. Some of these ruins are listed as the world’s cultural heritage, and your contribution will help us preserve this important part of history.
The funds necessary to produce this documentary material amount to $10,000, which would at least cover the costs of renting video equipment and studio editing of recorded material. I would finance all other expenses—renting a vehicle and staying in Kosovo and Metohia—from my funds.
Once again, I appeal to all people who care about this topic to help with their donations so I can produce this project. Your support is invaluable, and I am deeply grateful for any contribution you can make.

Dear Serbs, brothers and sisters,
My friend Ninoslav Randjelovic, a documentary filmmaker, is one of the rare people I can trust to never give up and bring results. Some of you will remember RAS showing his films in Washington, D.C. His movies about Kosovo and Metohia, which he made from 1998 until 2007, showed us the picture of life in our province, the life of the Serbs living behind the barbed wire, fighting for their lives every day.
Ninoslav is starting a new project. He will film a documentary about the changes that have been taking place in the region and people's lives since 2008. This film will be an essential document for all of us in the future. Many people like me, Serbian patriots, will use this film to fight for our people's rights and to regain the province. I believe that everything is possible if we all stand together.
It is time to fight for our Serbia, Holy Kosovo and Metohia again. Please look at this project, look at what Ninoslav has done in the past, and watch some of his films.
I beg you to consider donating funds to produce his film, which will help all of us. I hope we will all wake up and try our best not to be remembered as a generation that lost Kosovo and Metohia.
Please donate directly to Ninoslav; his website has descriptions and details. He will risk his life to accomplish his goal, but for the rest of us, this is a small price to pay to help our homeland.
If you know a great Serbian patriot worldwide who cares deeply about this cause, please forward this letter to them. If you don't feel comfortable with that, please send me the contacts, and I will do that for you. This endeavor will be dangerous.
Please support Ninoslav.
This letter is in English so we can reach a wider audience. Please forward it to your Greek friends, Cypriots, and people who stand with the Serbs.
Kosovo is and always will be Serbian.

As an independent author and producer, I have dedicated my work to shedding light on the humanitarian crisis, safety, and human rights violations suffered by the civilian Serbian population in Kosovo. This commitment is reflected in the 19 documentary films and numerous television reports I have produced, each serving as a voice for the oppressed.
My films have been broadcast on Serbian and European television networks and shown at international film festivals, where several have received awards.
They have also been presented at academic institutions in Europe and the United States, including OESCE, UNESCO, the United Nations, U.S. Capitol Hill, the National Press Club, the European Parliament, and the Russian Parliament.
Please take a look at some of my Kosovo films produced in the period 1998-2007.
In 2006, the DVD edition "Document of Suffering" was printed in the USA and presented at the US Senate and Congress.
In 2007, a special edition of 6 of my films about Kosovo was presented in Russia. The entire circulation of this edition was delivered to the representatives of the Russian State Duma, and all films were shown on Russian national television.
In 2008, the DVD edition "Days Made of Fear" was presented in Belgrade's Patriarchate of the Serbian Orthodox Church. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Pavle, it was officially delivered to all members of the European Parliament and presented at many relevant European cultural institutions.
In 2009, an independent DVD edition was issued in New York. It included three of my documentaries on the Kosovo crisis with subtitles in six official UN languages.
With the initial endorsement from several Missions to the UN country members, 192 UN country members received this document, and films were broadcast in 147 countries worldwide.
